Charitable purposes

Promote a peaceful, inclusive, prosperous and fair society firmly founded on the achievements of reconciliation, tolerance and mutual trust and the protection of Human Rights for all residents in the following estates of Magherafelt: Kirk Avenue, Queens Avenue, Princess Terrace, Princess Gardens, Princess Drive, Sperrin Drive, Sperrin View, Slemish View, The Leckagh Estates, Greenvale Park, Killowen Drive and Oasis. The Partnership will, at all times, abide by Section 75 to the Northern Ireland Act (1998), formerly known as the Good Friday Agreement, and will have due regard to the need to promote equality of opportunity:- - between persons of different religious belief, political opinion, racial group, age, marital status or sexual orientation - between men and women generally - between persons with a disability and persons without and - between persons with dependents and persons without. In addition, without prejudice to its obligations above, the Partnership shall in carrying out its functions, powers and duties relating to the residents of the Magherafelt estates have regard to the desirability of promoting good relations between persons of different religious belief, political or racial group.
