Charitable purposes

The company’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to promote the benefit of the inhabitants (hereinafter called the “beneficiaries”) of the Clonmore area and its environs of County Armagh (herein called the area of benefit) to advance education, and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreational or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants and in particular: (a) to redevelop, maintain and manage Clonmore Hall and to provide activities in furtherance of the above objects; (b) to provide a community transport service for the inhabitants of Clonmore who are in need of such a service because of a lack of availability of a safe public transport service in the area of benefit; (c) to encourage the provision, preservation and extension of public access to the Blackwater river for the benefit of those that live in or are visiting the Clonmore area; (d) to support the development of a cohesive, shared and integrated community; (e) to advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the directors may, from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
