Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
The purposes of Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Support (DADS) are to advance education, treatment and assessment of, and to relieve the conditions of Dyslexia and Dyspraxia among people, and in particular young children and young adults who are Dyslexic and Dyspraxic and the training of teachers and other persons in the education and treatment and assessment of such children and adults by associating together such people and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for such people. DADS will work with individuals and families with learning disabilities from any part of Northern Ireland.
