The group is established to provide for the benefit of the inhabitants of the communities in and around Brockagh and district, all in County Tyrone, without distinction of age, sex, race, political or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations, and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for the protection of health and relief of poverty and for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the quality and conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
