Charitable purposes

The Community Association is established to: Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the townland of Drumalane and its environs (hereinafter described as the 'area of benefit') without distinction of age, sex, race, ethnic origin or political, religious or other opinion, by co-ordinating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations, commercial and business sectors and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, physical and environmental improvement schemes and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. To establish or to secure the establishment of a community facility (hereinafter called 'the facility') and to maintain and manage or to cooperate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a facility for activities promoted by the Community Association and its constituent bodies in futherance of the above objectives/purposes.
