The Charity is established for the benefit of the public: 3.1.1. to undertake research and promote educational activities through schools and communities; 3.1.2. for the promotion of community participation and healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of sports, the facilitation of activities promoting learning, sports and the arts and other community activities; 3.1.3 for the relief of poverty or financial hardship, sickness and to assist the young, the aged, disabled and disadvantaged, without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion by supporting and developing the work of community based groups in any charitable activity that seeks to relieve poverty or financial hardship, advance education and improve health and quality of life Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with s.2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
