Charitable purposes

The Association is established to promote and advance Telugu culture, advance education and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants and community of Telugu origin and descent and their dependents (hereinafter called the "beneficiaries") resident in Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the beneficiaries in a common effort to advance education, promote and foster a community spirit in favour of equality and diversity and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said beneficiaries Further information on the purposes of the organisation is held by the Charity Commission.
