THE OBJECTIVE OF CUMANN CHLUAIN ÁRD IS: (1) To provide formal and informal learning opportunities for those who wish to learn Irish; (2) To provide training in the teaching of Irish for those who wish to teach it; (3) To form and strengthen connections with Gaeltacht areas throughout the country; (4) To promote among its members aspects of Irish culture which pertain to the written and spoken word; and (5) To facilitate, where possible, all other aspects of Irish cultural heritage, including music, dance and sport.
