The group is established to promote the welfare of the aged in any manner deemed by law to be charitable. to provide a range of facilities for older people living in an isolated rural area providing social recreational and health related activities among people aged 60 or over in the Park area and in particular: - To organize such specific services and activities for the well being of older people as are desirable. - To serve as a centre for information for those interested in the welfare of older people. - To bring together representation of local voluntary agencies, statutory bodies in furtherance of the above. - To provide a friendly open facility for older people living in a rural area.
