Charitable purposes
Slieve Donard Visually Impaired Person’s Group is established to; A) Provide opportunities for social inclusion and interaction, reducing the isolation of blindness, promoting self-help and independence, and thereby, enhancing the quality of life for blind and visually impaired people in the club. B) To recruit and train sighted volunteers with relevant skills to carry out the objects of the club and act as sighted volunteers. C) To co-operate in achievement of the above objects with any other organisation, statutory or voluntary having objects similar to those of the club.
