To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland without distinction of sex, race, ethnicity or political, religious or other opinions by advancing education in the art of photography particularly but not exclusively by: i. the provision of training in photographic skills required to produce and present artistic and educational works, including processing and printing , location work, digital photography, editing and exhibition planning and promotion and ii. the preservation of exhibitions and iii. the preservation, maintenance and development of a library of photographic images accessible to the public
