Charitable purposes

The Company is established to promote the benefit of and to develop the capacity and skills of the inhabitants of Lagmore and its environs of Co. Antrim (hereinafter called the (“area of benefit”) and to relieve poverty and unemployment without distinction of age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organizations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and urban economic regeneration to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in furtherance of this: (a) to maintain and manage a centre in the area of benefit for activities promoted by the company.
