Charitable purposes

1. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of, the town of Irvinestown and its surrounding hinterlands without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance community relations, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, recognise, develop and abridge the various cultures which exist with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. 2. To establish or to secure the establishment of an annual ten day festival and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a festival for activities promoted by the group and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.
