Charitable purposes

The Object of CMFA is to advance the education of the public and to promote the arts of speech & drama and music in the Carrickfergus area and its environs [hereinafter called the “area of benefit”] and in particular: a. To encourage people, especially but not exclusively the young, to become actively involved in an annual community-based festival on dates set by the Committee b. To promote the arts for the benefit of the general public in the area of benefit c. To encourage the appreciation of the arts and stimulate the artistic creativity of people in the area of benefit by the provision of artistic performances, training, support and facilities for artistic expression.
