Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
The objects of the charity are to enhance children's learning and their physical, social and spiritual development and to support and assist adults in their role as Children's workers in various settings. The purposes are as follows: 2.1 The prevention or relief of poverty 2.2 The advancement of education 2.3 The advancement of religion. This is from a Christian perspective and in accordance with the following doctrines: 2.3.1 That “all scripture is given by inspiration of God” and that the Bible; which consists of the books of the Old and New Testaments; is our sole authority in our lives and ministry. 2.3.2 That the Godhead exists in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. 2.3.3 That the Lord Jesus is the Son of God, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is God and man in one. That He was the sacrifice and substitute for our sin and died that we might live. 2.3.4 That the Holy Spirit, being part of the Godhead, dwells in the believer and gives us strength to live for God 2.3.5 That Man was created in the image of God, after His likeness, but as a result of man’s free will and free choice, he fell, and sin entered the world. 2.3.6 That on the third day the Lord Jesus rose again. He later ascended into heaven and is alive for evermore. 2.3.7 That repentance and faith in Jesus alone is our only means of salvation. We cannot be saved by good works. 2.3.8 That regeneration takes place in the life of a saved person and they are adopted into the family of God. 2.3.9 That the church is made up of those who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, have repented of sin and accepted Jesus as their Saviour and are living in accordance with the Word of God. 2.3.10 That all can be saved and know that they are saved. However, that man has free choice to turn His back on God. 2.3.11 That all believers have a responsibility to share the Gospel with every living creature. 2.3.12 That for believers, at the point of death, it is absent from the body and present with the Lord. 2.3.13 That the unsaved will be separated from God forever in Hell. 2.3.14 That Satan is real and seeks to deceive the world. 2.3.15 That Jesus will return in like manner as He left to gather the saved unto eternal life. 2.4 The advancement of health or the saving of lives 2.5 The advancement of citizenship or community development
