Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
The purpose/objects of the Club shall be: a) The promotion of amateur sport through provision of on-ice and off-ice training and competitive play for anyone from the age of 4 years and residing in UK and/or ROI to develop the physical/mental health and wellbeing of all participants and personal development of members by participating in positive recreational team activities. b) Promotion of citizenship by educating all participants in principles of fair play, being respectful of opposing teams and to have pride in their Club/Team aimed at developing their emotional capabilities, self-discipline and self-confidence that they may grow to full maturity as individualsand members of society c) The advancement of education through offering supporting guidance for members aimed at developing healthy lifestyle and emotional capability, accredited training for coaches and volunteers d) Promotion of good community relations, equality and diversity through the provision of family fun events each season and facilitation of cross-border ice hockey events (such as Girls World Hockey Day) which are open to all; training sessions which includes multi-cultural participants and provides equal opportunity regardless of age, gender, race etc and competitive play which takes place cross-border each season. The membership, income and property of the Club shall be used solely towards the promotion of these objects
