The charity is established for the benefit of the inhabitants of Newry, its environs and the wider region in Northern Ireland (herein called the ‘area of benefit’) without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious opinion, in a common effort to (a) advance education and (b) to assist in the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants and in particular; a) Those suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other similar disabilities and their immediate families and/or care givers
