Charitable purposes

The purposes of the charity are: • to relieve the needs of people who are lost and hurting in society locally, nationally and Internationally, in particular those suffering from life controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addiction, and assist them in their spiritual, physical, educational and emotional journey to freedom and to a life of meaning, purpose and productivity. • to relieve suffering and promote the well-being of those people and their families in the area of benefit (Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales) who are suffering or experiencing mental or emotional distress and anguish as a result of mental illness, drug and alcohol addiction, suicide, social and/or economic circumstances, domestic abuse and/or violence and difficulties in their personal lives by the provision of education, development projects and projects that develop life skills for all individuals in the area. • to promote or assist in promoting one to one support for beneficiaries within the area of benefit who have need of such assistance as a result of their youth, age, disability or infirmity, or social and economic circumstances, in an effort to increase the abilities, life skills and self-confidence of such communities in the area of benefit. • to raise awareness of addictions and life controlling issues through engagement in projects and in the provision of resources, training and financial support to assist those in poverty, suffering and distress.
