1.1 The Club is established for the advancement of education and protection of health among older people aged 50 or over in Derrygonnelly and its environs (hereinafter called the ‘area of benefit’) and in particular: (i) Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people (ii) Raise awareness among the general public of the needs and experiences of older people in the area of benefit
