Charitable purposes

The Trustees shall hold the capital and income of the Trust Fund upon trust to apply the income and all or such part or parts of the capital at such time or times and in such manner to or for the benefit of such exclusively charitable objects and purposes in any part of the world as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit and without prejudice to that: To make donations to help with the advancement of education of disadvantaged children in any part of the world and in particular (but without limitation to the trustees' powers) the relief of need, hardship, suffering , distress of underprivileged , deprived and abused children. To provide in any part of the world relief for those who by reason of their age, youth, infirmity, disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances are suffering hardship or distress or are otherwise in need. To make donations to any charitable institution or foundation in any part of the world for the purposes and furtherance of such institution's or foundation's charitable objects of such amount or amounts and in such manner generally as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion determine in each case for the benefit of the public subject to each such charitable institution and/or foundation being charitable in accordance with the relevant local law. Provided that nothing in this Charitable Trust will authorise an application of the property of this Charitable Trust for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005;
