P1. The relief of the suffering and distress of those persons who, by reason of social, financial or other circumstances (whether such circumstances result from local or international factors), are in need. P2. The furtherance and advancement of the education of children and adults including the promotion of adult literacy and numeracy, the building and maintenance of schools and other educational establishments, the supply of educational materials, the provision of educational courses designed to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS, the promotion of sustainable investment in education and the provision generally of financial assistance in connection herewith. P3. The promotion of the health and wellbeing of children and adults by way of sustainable livelihood projects P4. The support of charities which in the view of the Trustees are unable to obtain, or have difficulty in obtaining, funding from traditional funding sources and which are primarily focussed on Madagascar or third world countries and with the aim of making long term improvements to people’s lives in such countries and in particular within the sectors of education, health and welfare, sustainable livelihoods and water provision.
