Charitable purposes

The objects of the Group shall be: a) The relief of children and young people in need by reason of disability (hereinafter called “the beneficiaries”) particularly, but not exclusively, residing in Northern Ireland (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit”), through the provision of a developmental sensory room, support, education, practical advice, recreational facilities and opportunities, regardless of gender, race, nationality and culture without discrimination, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said beneficiaries. b) The advancement of education for the public benefit by developing and delivering training and educational programmes to professionals and the families/carers of children and young people with disabilities, with the aim of increasing their knowledge and skills to enable them to better support and empower children and young people with disabilities.
