Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following: (1) To advance health/wellbeing and the saving of lives within the community: (a) Contribute to the prevention of suicide and self-harm by offering early intervention, pre -vention and post-vention and other assistance to those at risk, their families and/or their carers. (b) promote the fostering of positive mental health at all levels and improving the emotional wellbeing of people residing in Northern Ireland and beyond, through, training, access to therapies, and activities within the community. (2) To advance the education of the public and raise awareness of the causes and effects of poor mental health, suicide and wellbeing, equipping society with the skills, knowledge and the actions that can be taken to prevent suicides and the supports available to for all.
