Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
To provide companionship for the elderly, asylum seekers people from the BAME communities suffering isolation, giving them the opportunity to develop a new relationship and opportunities to participate and engage in social activities. To alleviate the social isolation experienced by people with physical, sensory, psychological, or cognitive impairment living in Greater Belfast and Northern Ireland by providing befriending support and companionship, thus reducing the impact of isolation. To provide the relief of poverty by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, mentoring and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to gain knowledge, skill, and experience for employment to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. To achieve our aims, we will provide the opportunity for volunteers to gain new skills and experience as well as offering encouragement and support. To promote equality, diversity, and inclusion amongst asylum seekers, indigenous community, and people from the diverse communities in Belfast and Northern Ireland.
