Charitable purposes
The expressed and continued objects of this Mission as stated in the Schedule hereto are interdenominational evangelical missionary endeavour in the Acre District of Brazil for the spiritual Christian instruction and temporal relief of the inhabitants of that District and adjoining Districts in Brazil to which the objects of the Mission may be at any time extended. The Acre Gospel Mission was formed under a deep sense of the spiritual need of the Territory of Acre, and the adjoining districts of Brazil, with an earnest desire, constrained by the love of Christ, and the hope of His coming to obey His command to preach the Gospel to every creature. Its aim is, by the help of God, to bring the peoples of the Acre and district to a saving knowledge of the love of God in Christ, and to assist in building up the church, which is His body, throughout the land.
