The Kilkeel Silver Band is established (a) To provide a Local, Musical, Educational and Cultural resource, (b) To promote the enjoyment of brass band music in the local community and full public at large (c) To strive to maintain, improve and advanced ability and musicianship of its members as individual and of the membership as a brass band including children, men, older people, women and youth. (d) To ensure that its resources are used to support local and national charities, religious activities, youth development and also to the general benefit of the community at large (e) To assist in the education of the public through the promotion and practice of brass band music (f) To promote cultural confidences and civic pride and bolster the morale of a local community and harnessed the talents of a people of all ages background and gender.
