Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
The charity's objects ('Objects') are specifically restricted to the following: In accordance with the public benefit requirment, the Objects are split into the descriptions, as outlined below: (a) To advance the Christian faith (in accordance with the Statement of Faith attached hereto as Schedule 1), through, but not limited to, the promotion of Christ-centred, Bible based programmes, speaking engagements, literature publication and distribution, conferences and prayer gatherings and prayer support for men, women and children throughout the world, enabling them to pursue peace in their lives. (b) To advance education of men, women and children throughout the world for the public benefit to include: i. The provision of teaching and training programmes which will enable each person to reach their full potential in life; ii. To assist individuals to develop and acquire skill sets to enable better employment opportunities and thus relieving poverty and improving mental health; iii. To award such person’s scholarships, grants, maintenance allowances or other financial support for the furtherance of their education as the directors think fit; iv. Assisting in such a way and partnering with other person’s or charities whose aims include the advancement of education of persons by developing their mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and moral capabilities. (c) To advance health and the saving of lives through, but not limited to, the development and improvement of wellbeing by providing support, mentoring, coaching, counselling, prayer, teaching and training to individuals, enabling them to make positive choices to live their lives well and in particular; i. To provide structured Christ-centred, Bible based training programmes for individuals to address life controlling or unresolved or ongoing issues in their lives, and in addition further specific teaching and training based on need; ii. to provide supported and/or independent housing to those in need of such arrangements as they participate, directly or indirectly, in the programmes; iii. to help in suicide and self-harm prevention through educational programmes and resilience teaching. (d) And other such charitable purposes for the public benefit as the directors of the company may from time to time determine. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the articles of association of the charity is the law of Northern Ireland.
