2. THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY ARE: 2.1 To promote, run and facilitate amateur drama, primarily but not exclusively, in the County Down area, bringing together people from a diversity of backgrounds with a shared interest in all aspects of drama. In furtherane of this, the charity may, in all such ways as are charitable: 2.2 Promote, run and facilitate community rooms and shared spaces in the area of benefit, bringing together people from a diversity of backgrounds with a shared interest in various topics that help promote both physical and mental well-being. 2.3 Stage at least one production in a local venue within the County Down area per calendar year. 2.4 To be as inclusive as possible regardless of race, creed, colour, sexual orientation, gender identity or political affiliation. Offering opportunity to people with a diversity of abilities and needs, building purpose, focus and responsibility. 2.5 Promote well-being, build confidence, self-esteem, and unity in an encouraging environment through any activity that the committee deems will have a positive effect on the physical and mental well-being of any individual who undertakes said activity. 2.6 Offer the community a focal point to strengthen community spirit.
