THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY ARE: 2.1 Support and benefit the inhabitants of the Bellaghy & Surrounding areas and its environs without distinction of age, disability, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, community development and physical and mental wellbeing. 2.1.1 Advancement of education. 2.1.2 Advancement of community development. 2.1.3 Advancement of Physical & Mental Well being. 2.2 To establish or secure the establishment of the OpenDoor community centre and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with and local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.
