Charitable purposes

The charity's objects ('Objects') are specifically restricted to the following: (1) The prevention or relief of poverty for the people of Northern Ireland through the provision of food and other necessary resources that individuals may struggle to acquire due to their economic situation, and advice so that they are informed of the supports or opportunities to assist them in their situation; (2) The advancement of citizenship or community development in the community of Belfast through organising social and educational events to enhance collaboration between citizens in order to break down barriers and promote the social inclusion of groups that may be discriminated on the basis of wealth, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality; and (3) The relief of those in need by reason of age, disability and financial hardship in the city of Belfast through providing targeted supports on matters that disproportionally impact them whether it may be isolation, mobility, deprivation or other relevant aspects. Such supports include the organisation of inclusive social events, transportation of food and other necessary resources and alleviating burdensome costs individuals bear. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the articles of association of the charity is the law of Northern Ireland.
