The association is established to promote the benefit of the Spanish Speaking Community in Northern Ireland (Belfast and surrounding areas) by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: a) To advance education; b) Relieve poverty; c) Provide facilities for recreation or other leisure occupation for the Spanish speaking community who have a need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life; d) Promote Spanish-speaking countries’ art, culture, and heritage; e) Advance the integration of Spanish-speaking people and the Spanish language community in NI further to increasing the diversity of society and promoting greater equality, tolerance, and human rights;
