Charitable purposes
The Church acknowledges the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ over His Church. The purpose of this Church is to glorify the God of Holy Scripture. Therefore, we are committed to the proclamation of the Word of God and of the glorious Gospel of His grace through all the world; to the defence of the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3); to the celebration of the ordinances of the New Covenant, namely, Believers’ Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and to the reverent worship of God in Spirit and in Truth, regulated as God has prescribed in Holy Scripture. The principal charitable objective of the church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the teachings of Holy Scripture, the doctrinal statement, and Baptist principles. ‘To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, Amen.’ (Eph 3: 21)
