Charitable purposes
The Association is established as a governing body for the relief of disability and to advance the education of persons who are deaf or hard of hearing (hereinafter called “the beneficiaries”) in Northern Ireland (the “area of benefit”) through their leisure time activities by the provision, or assisting in the provision, of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation and in particular the playing of bowls with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons.
