Charitable purposes
4. The objects for which the Organisation is established are: 4.1 To advance equality and diversity in Northern Ireland by recognising and celebrating the achievements and contributions of individuals and organisations from minority ethnic communities to the social, economic, and cultural life of the country. 4.2 To promote community cohesion and good relations between people of different backgrounds in Northern Ireland through the organisation and presentation of recognition awards and associated events that showcase the talents and successes of minority individuals and groups. 4.3 To promote racial harmony, equality and diversity, by creating opportunities for growth and expansion of BAME businesses through an award system and challenging stereotypes linked to BAME businesses and the wider community. 4.4 To promote community relations and social inclusion of migrants through the provision of educational, recreational and multicultural events which bring the community together. 4.5 To support the integration and well-being of individuals and businesses from BAME migrant communities in Northern Ireland by providing resources, programs, and recognition that facilitate their further development and social inclusion, thereby addressing disadvantage and promoting a more equitable society. Operates and is required to register as a Charity in Northern Ireland Nothing in the articles will authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes, which are not charitable in accordance with section 2 of the Charities Act 2011. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the articles of association of the Charity is the law of Northern Ireland.
