What the charity exists to do
The charity's objectives are to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations as are conducive to the benefit of, and the improvement of, the conditions of living of the inhabitants of Bilston and the surrounding neighbourhood. The user groups are varied, as per the 'Review of Activities' in the Trustees report..

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Society are to provide facilities for such forms of (physical exercise) recreation and other leisure time occupation as are conducive to the improvement of the conditions of living of the inhabitants of Bilston and the neighbourhood thereof within the Society’s sphere of operations as defined from time to time and in particular (but not exclusively) such of the inhabitants as are members of the mining community provided that nothing herein contained shall authorise the application of the property to purposes which are not in law charitable.
