What the charity exists to do

The charity supports charitable organisations and the solicitors collect appeals made to the Trustees. The Trustees meet quarterly to consider appeals and instruct the solicitors to pay the grants that they have agreed.

Constitutional objectives

All sums of money, shares, stock and other estate...which I have paid over or may at any time pay over, transfer convey or bequeath or which may at any time be paid over, transferred, conveyed or bequeathed by any other person or persons for the purposes of these presents (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trust Estate') to my Trustees shall be held by them in trust always for the following purposes, videlicet, ... IN THE SECOND PLACE for such object or objects charitable for inland revenue purposes as my Trustees may select, Declaring it to be my wish that my Trustees will have regard to those charities favoured by me although this expression of my wish is not to bind my Trustees or limit their discretion.
