02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Kindred transform the lives of families raising children with serious, complex, or life-limiting conditions. For over 35 years, we have delivered expert, professional, independent advocacy, counselling, emotional support, and psychosocial parenting programmes in the community (predominantly Edinburgh and Fife, with a small percentage Scotland-wide) and within the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People (RHCYP).
