02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Udny Station Community Association exists to provide and maintain a community hall and facilities for the benefit of local residents and groups. The hall supports the local playgroup and nursery by providing a safe and welcoming environment for early years activities. It is also available for hire by community organisations, clubs, businesses, and individuals for meetings, classes, events, and recreational activities. Through the provision of these facilities, the Association aims to promote community involvement, social inclusion, learning, and wellbeing within Udny Station and the surrounding area.

Constitutional objectives
(a) to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Udny Station and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. (b) to secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a Community Centre (hereinafter called 'The Centre') for activities promoted by the Association in furtherance of the above objects, or any of them.
