What the charity exists to do
The charity seeks to make donations towards organisations working at a local level in Scotland, often in socially deprived areas. From an international perspective annual grants are made to aid the Leprosy Mission and to Murambinda Hospital. Income to the charity is raised through a series of fund-raising events in Scotland held throughout the year.

Constitutional objectives
3. Aims of the Order The aims of the order are: To sustain and defend the Christian faith. To maintain its historical support of Christians in the Holy Land. To assist, succour and help the poor, the sick and the afflicted, especially those suffering from leprosy or similar diseases. To promote and maintain the principles of Christian chivalry. To work for Christian unity. To follow the teachings of Christ. By its activities in charitable, philanthropic, health and education fields, the Order seeks to support the achievement of the aims and principles of the United Nations Charter and Statutes of the European Union.
