02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our Port Glasgow Church is in a joint pastorate with Greenock East United Reformed Church. The Church is open for worship every Sunday and we welcome requests for weddings, baptism, and funeral services. We provide pastoral care by visitation, particularly for members and friends who are ill or housebound Special services are held at Easter and Christmas and an ecumenical Lent Bible study group is held every year and our hall is available for let to organisations seeking premises. We have operated a foodbank for the past 15 years and open two days a week supplying 30 food parcels each day.
