02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
As part of the Church of Scotland we follow the doctrine of Jesus Christ. We hold religious services every week in our churches in the villages of Middlebie & Eaglesfield together with occasional services in Ecclefechan Village Hall. We also host a weekly 'coffee and chat' where all members of the community are welcome into a warm and safe space to spend time with others, there is no charge for this. We are active in the community and local schools and support the local food bank by donations of produce. We also hold hold occasional fund raising events and sales where all members of the local communities are made welcome.
