02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To preserve and upkeep the village hall and park for the local community to be able to use for now and years to come. We hold regular fundraising events and rent the hall and park to cover the running costs.

Constitutional objectives

The objects of the Association ('the Objects') are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Grandtully and Strathtay community (as defined in Clause 3 ii) without distinction of sex or sexuality, or of political, religious or other opinion, by associating where appropriate with local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in order to: 1.. advance education. and 11 provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure-time occupation. so that the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the Grandtully and Strathtay community may be improved.
