What the charity exists to do

The charity was set up in 1951 for the relief of poverty, for the advancement of education and religion, and for the benefit of the community as a whole. We give grants to a wide range of charities in Dundee and its surrounds, and in Scotland as a whole if the remit is of benefit to all Scottish citizens. We give to UK charities operating throughout the United Kingdom and at times abroad. The charities we support include health, the environment, the arts, heritage, education, veterans, citizenship, religion
