Constitutional objectives
to pay, apply and appropriate the Trust Fund and the rents, interest and other annual income thereof for the purpose of aiding by grants of money or otherwise persons who are natives of Scotland and who from the reverses of fortune or otherwise, shall be in necessitous circumstances and also for the purpose of contributing to the support, clothing, education, health and well-being of any such persons as aforesaid andlor of helping in such way and to such extent as the Trustees of the Fund may deem best and with as little publicity as reasonably possible, and also aiding by grants of money or otherwise such Charitable organisations now existing or which may hereafter exist in Scotland as may be selected by the Trustees in their absolute and unfettered discretion whose purposes are similar to the purposes hereinbefore contained.'
