02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We organise an annual information event and regularly update contacts for activities in our brochure of local activities. We arrange an Xmas lunch. We provide a hospital transport service for people attending appointments. We set up gardening activities for the older community and respond to request for equipment to support our older community.

Objects The charitable objects for which the group is established are: a) To promote the welfare of older members of our community and cooperate with other groups in order to do so b) To consult with our community and consider their views and ideas regarding our priorities c) To identify and advertise activities which would support the quality of life of older people d) To organise services and events for the benefit of older people in our community e) To liaise with North Ayrshire Council, Age Scotland and other agencies in order to access support and advice for our work
