02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
As a presbytery of the Church of Scotland the Presbytery is an interface between the national church and local congregations. Its activities are to enable and support congregations in their various activities by providing advice etc on various matters including general administration and legal matters (civil and Church Law). The Presbytery also has an overseer role -- providing training and advice on matters as Safeguarding, finance and building maintenance.
