02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
purpose of the charity is to popularise the Simmental breed and to encourage and educate young and new members, this achieved by attending various shows, for example during the year to 31 August 2025 members organised the hospitality at the stand for the British Simmental Society at the Royal Highland show, organised the national show with a BBQ held the night before for exhibitors and young members, organised the young members trip which started with a herd visit to the Incheoch Herd

Constitutional objectives
1. The advancement of heritage, culture and science by promoting scientific and practical measures into the breeding, feeding and welfare of Simmental cattle and any such measure as may be deemed necessary to preserve and safeguard the high quality of the breed and ensure its sustainability. 2. The provision of recreational activities to Members where social isolation is present. 3. The advancement of citizenship and community development.
