Oakbank Community Association

Constitutional objectives

The objects of the Association shall be: (a) To promote the benefit of residents in Oakbank and the surrounding areas (hereinafter called the Area) without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions in associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and residents in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of the physical, mental and social wellbeing of the residents with the object of improving their condition of life. (b) To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a Community Centre (hereinafter called the Centre) for the activities by the Association in furtherance of the above objects, or any of them, and where appropriate to co-operate with the Local Authorities in the maintenance and management of the Centre, for the activities promoted by the Association in furtherance of the above objects, or any of them. The Association shall be non-party in politics and non denominational.
