02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Camphill Blair Drummond exists to provide residential and day care services for adults with complex learning disabilities. Rooted in the Camphill ethos, we believe in the spiritual uniqueness of every individual and strive to create a community where everyone can flourish. We achieve this by offering meaningful work and activities in workshops such as bakery, pottery, gardening, and media, alongside life skills, drama, sport, and craft. Residents, day participants, volunteers, and staff live and work together, fostering inclusion, dignity, and shared responsibility. Our approach combines therapeutic social care with opportunities for personal growth, ensuring each person contributes to and benefits from a vibrant, supportive environment.
