02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We rehearse as a mixed choir weekly from August to May and give two main concerts a year at Christmas and a Spring Concert in May. We also take part and organise other charitable singing events such as Christmas Carols in stores and a cheese and wine charity evening. We have between 50 and 65 members who are all amateur singers and we are led by a conductor with an accompanist who plays the piano.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Choir shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other means as the Choir, through the committee, and with the approval of it's Conductor shall determine from time to time.
